FRPT2215 Hazardous Materials Specialty Containers - On Hold

This course is designed to give the student the knowledge to perform container analysis activities at a hazardous material incident. The course covers both fixed and mobile containers. This course consists of instructor-directed study and problem solving using simulation.

Learning Outcomes

The following outcomes will be addressed in the course:
Calculate the extent of damage to cargo tanks 
Examine the extent of damage to fixed tanks 
Prepare response options

Course Scheduling

The scheduled hours of instruction include sixteen hours for each lecture credit, thirty two hours for each lab credit and forty hours for each credit of supervised occupational experience (SOE).  Lecture credit may include formal or impromptu lectures, demonstrations or discussions with the entire class or with small groups or individuals.  Refer to the Course Credits section of this syllabus for the credit breakdown.
