ABCT2006 Stationary Glass Replacement

The student will be able to identify different types of glass, assess what types of adhesion methods are used and install stationary glass. The student will check for wind noise and water leaks. The student will also be introduced to laminated glass repair systems.

Learning Outcomes

The following outcomes will be addressed in the course:
Explain glued in glass installation procedures
Develop procedure to install glued in glass
Validate proper installation of glued in glass

Course Scheduling

The scheduled hours of instruction include sixteen hours for each lecture credit, thirty two hours for each lab credit and forty hours for each credit of supervised occupational experience (SOE). Lecture credit may include formal or impromptu lectures, demonstrations or discussions with the entire class or with small groups or individuals.
