ARET1170 Troubleshooting Packaging Machinery

This course is designed for persons involved with production machine maintenance, automated packaging machinery systems, machine engineering and manufacturing technologies. Also included are application set-up, troubleshooting and repair of labeling, bar coding, magnetic strip, smart card, conveying, accumulating and palleting equipment. This course will cover the characteristics of hazardous wastes and its safe handling, storage, and disposal.

Course Scheduling

The scheduled hours of instruction include sixteen hours for each lecture credit, thirty two hours for each lab credit and forty hours for each credit of supervised occupational experience (SOE). Lecture credit may include formal or impromptu lectures, demonstrations or discussions with the entire class or with small groups or individuals.
