ARCH2920 Photoshop for Architecture
This is an advanced course in which students will learn the basics of Adobe Photoshop and how to apply the software in the creation of architectural digital images. Students will be will be involved in hands on supervised projects.
Prerequisite
Architectural Drafting and Design program student or architectural industry experience with current working knowledge of computers

Apply software commands
Merge images from multiple sources
Construct channels from selections
Construct photo collage/montage effects
Incorporate text into images
Analyze lighting requirements
Construct photorealistic building views
Produce finished images in multiple formats

Course Scheduling
The scheduled hours of instruction include sixteen hours for each lecture credit, thirty two hours for each lab credit and forty hours for each credit of supervised occupational experience (SOE). Lecture credit may include formal or impromptu lectures, demonstrations or discussions with the entire class or with small groups or individuals. Refer to the Credit Details section of this course outline for the credit breakdown.
