Learning Outcomes

The following outcomes will be addressed in the course:
Develop a further understanding of concepts applying to audio production
Produce an industry standard project
Demonstrate professionalism with clients
Adapt to developing situations in the studio
Delegate tasks to the correct team members
Develop a detailed pre-production plan
Expand production skills
Handle client relations productively and professionally
Investigate new approaches to the project
Develop detailed logs of the sessions
Complete the project
Conduct the sessions in a time-conscious manner

Course Scheduling

The scheduled hours of instruction include sixteen hours for each lecture credit, thirty two hours for each lab credit and forty hours for each credit of supervised occupational experience (SOE). Lecture credit may include formal or impromptu lectures, demonstrations or discussions with the entire class or with small groups or individuals. Refer to the Credit Details section of this course outline for the credit breakdown.
