Overview
The Mechatronics Technician Certificate program is designed to reinforce the core technical skills and real-world application needed in today’s manufacturing environment. This certificate aligns with the entry level requirements of many companies including those companies in the Semi-Conductor industry. Students will be exposed to electrical skills, motor controls, safety, quality concepts, and troubleshooting mechatronic systems.

Career Opportunities
This certificate is designed as an entry level certificate with the intent that students will continue their education and complete an Applied Associates of Science (AAS) after gaining entry level employment. Career opportunities are wide-spread in Minnesota and throughout the United States. Extensive opportunities exist as Electrical Technicians for industrial equipment, Industrial Machinery Mechanics, Industrial Engineering Technicians, Mechanical Engineering Technicians, and as Packaging Technicians.
