Overview
The Ford Chassis Specialist Diploma program offers comprehensive training in diagnosing and testing core components such as steering, suspension, climate control systems, brakes, and new model updates. The curriculum includes advanced instruction in wheel alignment, electronic steering and suspension diagnostics, and troubleshooting both manual and electronic climate control systems. Additionally, it covers techniques for diagnosing noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH) issues using tools like chassis ears and electronic vibration analyzers. The program also features three co-op experiences that provide practical, hands-on training at a Ford/Lincoln dealership.

Career Opportunities
Students who successfully complete this diploma will be Ford certified in the covered STST (Service Technician Specialty Training) specialty areas. They will be employed by Ford and/or Lincoln dealers as dealership repair technicians. A large number of jobs exist for qualified automotive technicians in the metropolitan and rural communities. The potential to advance to service writer, service manager, sales positions, company representatives or other dealership management is excellent.
