FMLR1650 Ford Steering and Balance

In this course the student will analyze the steering systems used on Ford vehicles. The student will learn to troubleshoot, diagnose and repair steering systems using a hands-on approach with late model Ford vehicles. It also includes tire construction and repair, wheel vibration diagnosis, and electronic balance procedures.

Course Scheduling

The scheduled hours of instruction include sixteen hours for each lecture credit, thirty two hours for each lab credit and forty hours for each credit of supervised occupational experience (SOE). Lecture credit may include formal or impromptu lectures, demonstrations or discussions with the entire class or with small groups or individuals.
