MACH1130 Milling Technology II

This course is a continuation of Milling Technology I and will cover the following vertical milling operations: pocket milling, form cutters, milling keyways, using a indexing head and rotary table. Students will produce parts in the shop environment. This course will cover the characteristics of hazardous wastes and its safe handling, storage, and disposal.

Course Scheduling

The scheduled hours of instruction include sixteen hours for each lecture credit, thirty two hours for each lab credit and forty hours for each credit of supervised occupational experience (SOE). Lecture credit may include formal or impromptu lectures, demonstrations or discussions with the entire class or with small groups or individuals.
