Overview

The Medical Device Certificate will prepare students for a career in the medical device industry. Coursework will focus on the technical understanding and professional skills needed to be successful in the day to day operations of a medical device manufacturing environment. Students will be introduced to the concepts, principals and specific requirements regarding Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) that strictly regulate how organizations are to produce medical devices.
