Overview
In a rapidly evolving tech landscape, Data Modeling (DM), Machine Learning (ML), and Artificial Intelligence (AI) have become essential to many industries. As businesses increasingly rely on AI-driven insights, roles such as AI Engineer, Data Scientist, and Prompt Engineer are growing in demand. This award provides students with a solid foundation in relational (SQL) and non-relational (NoSQL) databases, machine learning, neural networks, and AI algorithms.
Students will gain practical experience with programming languages like HTML/CSS, JavaScript, Python, and C#. Core areas of study in this program provide a solid foundation in AI concepts, machine learning techniques, and data handling for AI-driven applications. Graduates will be well-prepared for entry-level roles or for enhancing their current technical roles, positioning them to support their organization’s AI needs and aspirations. With this foundation, they’ll be ready to help drive data-driven projects and contribute to the growing need for Artificial Intelligence in modern business practices as they continue to advance their skills.

Classify foundational Artificial Intelligence (AI) algorithms
Examine essential data modeling techniques for AI applications
Investigate Neural Network techniques in AI context
Utilize software applications for data management
Apply AI concepts using industry standard software tools

Career Opportunities
This occupational area includes the following career titles: Data Scientist and AI Engineer, to name a few. Data Scientist and AI Engineer work within banks, insurance companies, healthcare facilities, government agencies, educational institutions, retail industries, and various service and manufacturing businesses.

Graduation (60 Credits)
