MACH2455 Die/Mold Design
This course will introduce students to the concepts of Tool and Die/Mold design. Projects include researching and designing a basic die and mold. This course will cover the characteristics of hazardous wastes and its safe handling, storage, and disposal.
Prerequisite
CNC Operators Certificate, or equivalent industry experience with instructor's approval

Course Scheduling
The scheduled hours of instruction include sixteen hours for each lecture credit, thirty two hours for each lab credit and forty hours for each credit of supervised occupational experience (SOE). Lecture credit may include formal or impromptu lectures, demonstrations or discussions with the entire class or with small groups or individuals.
