Overview

The Interactive Designer is responsible for bringing design to digital screens. Design content is created for the web, apps, games, and movies. Focusing on the user interface and user experience (UI/UX) the Interactive Designer will create content that is user-centered, while showcasing design principles, color theory, and typography. The designer will develop written, verbal and visual communication skills, to use with both clients and other team members. Some projects will require independent work and others will be part of a team effort. This production work may include storyboards, wireframes, high-fidelity prototypes, websites, interactive kiosks, e-learning content, 2D and 3D animations, videos, and print materials.

Career Opportunities

Interactive Designers with good artistic design skills are in high demand by media producers, film and animation companies, production houses, government agencies, printing houses, ad agencies, educational institutions and businesses who are engaged in local and global communications with outside customers or company employees.
