D2L

D2L or Desire to Learn is a course management system. A D2L course site allows anytime, any-where access to syllabi, readings, multimedia files, electronic drop boxes, online quizzes, communication, grading, student progress reports, etc. D2L accounts are activated the day after a student registers for a course.

D2L Brightspace (“D2L”) is Hennepin Tech's online learning management system.
D2L is used for completely online courses, blended/hybrid courses and some in-person courses.
Students can access D2L on any device that has an internet connection and a web browser.
Students log in to Hennepin Tech’s D2L site with their StarID and StarID password.
