ITEC1042 Microsoft PowerPoint

This course is for personnel responsible for creating presentations in a business environment. Using the many features of PowerPoint, the student will learn to produce slides which include diagrams, clipart, charts and graphs. The student will import data from word processing and spreadsheet software to prepare professional presentations.

Prerequisite

Qualifying score on keyboarding assessment test OR CPLT1100 or CPLT1200 or instructor approval

Course Scheduling

The scheduled hours of instruction include sixteen hours for each lecture credit, thirty-two hours for each lab credit, and forty hours for each credit of supervised occupational experience (SOE).  Lecture credit may include formal or impromptu lectures, demonstrations, or discussions with the entire class or with small groups or individuals.  Refer to the Course Credits section of this course outline for the credit breakdown.
