MUBE2020 Music Business and Entrepreneurship: Capstone

This course provides an opportunity for students to design a significant project in a collaborative environment. The course culminates in a formal oral presentation of their project.

Learning Outcomes

The following outcomes will be addressed in the course:
Demonstrate the techniques of detailed decision-making
Demonstrate critical/lateral thought
Demonstrate entrepreneurial dynamics
Demonstrate collaborative project-management techniques
Synthesize knowledge gained to develop an original project
Communicate ways the Capstone project contributes to a sense of closure
Communicate ways the Capstone project contributes to purpose, and agency

Create a culminating experience project

Course Scheduling

The scheduled hours of instruction include sixteen hours for each lecture credit, thirty-two hours for each lab credit and forty hours for each credit of supervised occupational experience (SOE).  Lecture credit may include formal or impromptu lectures, demonstrations or discussions with the entire class or with small groups or individuals.  Refer to the Course Credits section of this course outline for the credit breakdown.
