BUSN1100 Supervision

The focus of this course is on the first-line manager who coordinates and supervises the activities of the operating employees in any company. The course will emphasize effective ways to lead, motivate, delegate, communicate and measure the performance of employees who perform the day-to-day activities of the organization.

Course Scheduling

The scheduled hours of instruction include sixteen hours for each lecture credit, thirty two hours for each lab credit and forty hours for each credit of supervised occupational experience (SOE). Lecture credit may include formal or impromptu lectures, demonstrations or discussions with the entire class or with small groups or individuals.
