Overview
The Music Business and Entrepreneurship (MUBE) certificate prepares students who seek to supplement their music industry experience and who are interested immediate entry-level employment. Coursework in the certificate utilizes industry-specific methodologies to help students develop entrepreneurial, creative, and small-business skills.

Career Opportunities
Starting and managing a music-related business is a promising career for many musicians and artists. Minnesota has a rich history in the music industry, and the allure of entrepreneurship is strong. In addition to entrepreneurial opportunities, and depending on qualifications and experience, numerous positions are also available to students who complete the certificate, such as music marketing representative, social media marketing, music entrepreneur, promotions coordinator, and media sales.
