ATEC1815 Engine Performance III - Deleted Fall 2020
In this course students will learn theory, operation, and diagnosis of computerized powertrain control systems. This will include scan tool operation, lab scope usage, and gas analysis. This course meets all applicable National Automotive Technicians Education Foundation (NATEF) standards.

Perform component tests
Operate diagnostic scan tools
Interpret data from four-gas analysis
Interpret Scan-Tool data
Diagnose computerized engine control systems

Course Scheduling
The scheduled hours of instruction include sixteen hours for each lecture credit, thirty two hours for each lab credit and forty hours for each credit of supervised occupational experience (SOE). Lecture credit may include formal or impromptu lectures, demonstrations or discussions with the entire class or with small groups or individuals.
