MMVP2020 Advanced Flash (On Hold) - Deleted Nov 2022

This course will provide students with the fundamentals to create interactive Flash applications. It will introduce students to ActionScript. This course will require the student to create creative solutions with Flash to solve design problems. Students in this course will integrate Photoshop and Illustrator into the asset creation workflow.

Learning Outcomes

The following outcomes will be addressed in the course:
Create advanced animation with single and nested timelines
Use filters and easing in animating assets
Integrate Photoshop with Flash
Integrate Illustrator with Flash
Create advanced interactive Flash movies
Plan application user interfaces
Create interactive Flash applications that engage the user
Create innovative Flash application experiences
Produce and deploy Flash applications to the web and the desktop

Course Scheduling

The scheduled hours of instruction include sixteen hours for each lecture credit, thirty two hours for each lab credit and forty hours for each credit of supervised occupational experience (SOE).  Lecture credit may include formal or impromptu lectures, demonstrations or discussions with the entire class or with small groups or individuals.  Refer to the Credit Details section of this course outline for the credit breakdown.
