EMSV1220 Cardiac Care - "On Hold" - August 2020
The course will prepare the Emergency Medical Provider to assess and manage those cardiac emergencies that result from coronary atherosclerosis, along with a number of conditions involving pathology of peripheral circulation. The interpretation of cardiac dysrhythmia receives primary emphasis in this course. Advanced Life Support Certification (ACLS) may be included.

Course Scheduling
The scheduled hours of instruction include sixteen hours for each lecture credit, thirty two hours for each lab credit and forty hours for each credit of supervised occupational experience (SOE). Lecture credit may include formal or impromptu lectures, demonstrations or discussions with the entire class or with small groups or individuals.
