English Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL)
Hennepin Technical College (HTC) offers courses for English Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL). Many staff at HTC are available to assist English language learners. Student Success Advisors can assist with academic planning, course scheduling, and post-test advising. Counselors can provide academic, personal and career counseling to students in a confidential setting. Students can visit with counselors regarding a wide variety of concerns, including managing stress, developing career goals, creating academic plans, and understanding college policies. The College Social Worker can support students who are going through difficult times with resources and referrals to childcare, housing, financial, transportation, community resources and mental health trainings.
