CBTG2331 Cabinet Fabrication - Deleted 2018
This course will teach the student effective and efficient methods of face frame cabinet production. Machining processes, assembly, finishing, handling and installation will be stressed.

Learning Outcomes
The following outcomes will be addressed in the course:
Determine cabinet assembly sequence
Check cabinet components for fit and accuracy
Determine fasteners/adhesives needed
Perform cabinet assembly operations
Perform finishing operations
Complete cabinet hardware
Analyze total material used
Complete labor time study
Prepare cabinets for shipping
Analyze installation process
Complete cabinetry installation
Assume responsibility for customer relationship

Course Scheduling
The scheduled hours of instruction include sixteen hours for each lecture credit, thirty two hours for each lab credit and forty hours for each credit of supervised occupational experience (SOE). Lecture credit may include formal or impromptu lectures, demonstrations or discussions with the entire class or with small groups or individuals. Refer to the Course Credits section of this syllabus for the credit breakdown.
