OFCR1340 Medical Office Management - Replaced by OFCR1341 - FY23
This course is an extension of the Medical Office Procedures course, focusing on medical office managerial responsibilities. It includes the application of fees, credit, accounting, banking and finance management principles. Content also includes a medical office staff orientation presentation incorporating policy and procedure development.

Course Scheduling
The scheduled hours of instruction include sixteen hours for each lecture credit, thirty two hours for each lab credit and forty hours for each credit of supervised occupational experience (SOE). Lecture credit may include formal or impromptu lectures, demonstrations or discussions with the entire class or with small groups or individuals.
