FRPT1205 Confined Space Operations - On Hold
The student will learn how to recognize confined space hazards, preplan the incident and to render the scene safe around the incident.
Prerequisite
FRPT1176 and training to at least the NFPA 472, Standard for Professional Competence of Responders to Hazardous Materials

Assess the incident for hazards
Control hazards
Describe the requirements of the permit required confined space entry program

Course Scheduling
The scheduled hours of instruction include sixteen hours for each lecture credit, thirty two hours for each lab credit and forty hours for each credit of supervised occupational experience (SOE). Lecture credit may include formal or impromptu lectures, demonstrations or discussions with the entire class or with small groups or individuals. Refer to the Credit Details section of this course outline for the credit breakdown.
