The course will use the latest two versions of Windows operating systems in a `workgroup` or peer-to-peer configuration. Students will learn to both install the operating systems and then to configure the desktop interface for different types of users. This will involve user management, local security groups, policy implementation, printer access, and some remote desktop configuration.
